WOW! What a time to be alive.  I am so glad that the Lord allowed me to live in this day.  It is just the right time for me.  I love the ability to see what is happening, really around the world in a moment by the internet.  I was up watching one of the revivals that the Lord is doing in this land.  The revival is a healing and salvation powerhouse.  I also have to remind us that we all love fire but we also have to build fireplaces to contain the fire for the benefit of others.  I have seen many miracles in my life from even a child.  My father would take me with him when he went to pray for victims of polio in the 50's.  I was playing in the backyard of a home when the young child inside was healed of a hole in his heart that even the Mayo clinic could not help in the 60's.  I remember Oral Roberts printing a comic book of the true story about a young girl in a wheelchair that was asking for the Lord to heal her.  She felt that the Lord told her He would bring her healing on a certain date.  She prepared even to the point of buying shoes as she did not need them before.  Remember in the 50's we did not as a society have a lot of our wants because we still had many needs.  We live in a society today that we demand our wants because many needs are met materially. 
Well she needed shoes, as her feet and legs were going to be working soon.  The comic book went on to present the total story of her healing and the results of her faith in the Lord.  How much are you leaning on the Lord today for your needs?  Needs that only He can provide.  He is still the same today as yesterday.  I am getting ready to celebrate His goodness, in giving me life for 59 years, next week.  I have needed Him so many times and would not be here today if He had not shown up in His power and might.  He is my Lord and my Redeemer.  You could say denounce Him today or die and I would have to keep Him.  He has already brought me out of death so many times I could never denounce Him.  
Walk in His love and power today.  Talk to Him and expect to hear Him.  He loves you and is for you so who can be against you.   

This miracle happened live Friday night on Live streaming video.  The lady was in wheelchair for 23 years after a vehicle accident caused nerve damage.  Her husband is a Bishop and for 23 years they have been believing for a miracle.  She is a women of faith as she was determined to get her miracle.  This prayer and praise was over an hour of the total service.  We need to expect to see the Lord's power more and praise until we see it happen.  I hope we have more of this total video in the future as she and her husband went to where she could sit in a normal chair and they had such a glow of the Lord on their faces.

Well it is time again for Prophetic Training classes.  They begin Sept. 1 at 6:30-8:30 on Wednesday for 12 sessions.  That is the first semester and the second will be the same time but begin in January.  It is such an exciting time as we come together to learn to hear the voice of the Lord more clearly.  Prophecy is just hearing God and then speaking to man.  We listen for the things the Lord is saying in order to be a vessel to be used to bring His thoughts, will and character into everyday situations.  We cover many aspects such as dreams, impressions, visions, etc.  We discuss the history of prophetic activities in the Word.  We practice on each other and then step out in faith to bless and encourage those around us daily.  Check out more at   www.gcotv.com 

My friend Kerry Kirkwood just had this new book released today.  Just read an exert and it looks really good.  I have heard parts of this message when he preached it at Grace Church.  You have to hear the testimonies and pass this book on to others.  It will turn your life situations around. 
Keep your life forcused forward and allow the spirit of the Kingdom to bring forth abundance in your life.  Jesus paid for so much more than we ever take hold of.  Blessing is so powerful and we need power in this day and time. 

I have been reading recently the book "The Hope Habit" by Dr. Terry Law, and it is truly a book for today.  With so much hurt and turmoil we need to remind ourselves that hope is powerful.  I remember a time of deep hopelessness in my life and it was such a hurtful, dark place.  Today we pass people all the time who are at that dark and hurtful place of no hope.  We sometimes get a low tank of hope and need to refill but some have hit total bottom.  We are living in desperate times when men are lovers of selves more than lovers of God.  The Word is clear that this time will be evident.  I encourage you today to feast on the love of the Lord and fill up with hope.  Then go give some hope away so that you will have a multiplying effect in your life.  More Hope and More Hope and More Hope!

Here it is 3:00 am and I get up to check my e-mails and the news is that Touchdown Jesus Statue just a few miles from here was struck by lightning and is destroyed by fire.  When I went to bed there was a storm blowing hard rain and wind.  I was so glad that we had a roof leak that was fixed this weekend.  It would have been a problem during the force of tonight's storm if it had not been fixed.  So it is with all things in life we need to fix the small things in order that when a storm blows in unexpectedly we do not have more damage in our lives from broken places that are not healed.  This whole incident with the storm, funnel cloud over Cincinnati and the statue being lit afire is just speaking to my soul.  We need to get ready!  Things are a brewing and forming that are going to unexpectedly break forth. 
In just the last few days we are seeing more floods.  People's lives lost, homes destroyed and hearts broken. Seek the Lord while He may be found.  Today is the day of salvation.  Salvation includes not just a one time decision but a daily, moment by moment decision to allow His life and truth to come into every part of us. 
Here I am in the dark typing this as I process what is indeed ahead coming on the horizon. 

There are times when we are feeling very lonely or somewhat detached from normal life.  I had someone this week tell me how difficult things were in their life and yet in just a few days they were going to receive great news.  At the point, of conversation, they did not know that great news was on it's way, but in just a bit here it was.  This is just to say that sometimes when life seems dry and barren we are really just in front of great breakthrough. 
Always run to the Lord during these times even when you don't feel like it.  That is when you need to the most.  This last 15 months have been very difficult in the physical for me, as I have had to battle through several attacks to my body.  But the Lord is so faithful and He has rescued me from them all.  Even loved ones have had health battles that seemed impossible but the Lord never turns away.  Today I was so missing a loved one that is in heaven and I would have to tell myself that they are happy and joyful.  They wouldn't trade heaven for anything here even though I miss them.  The world is joyful but also full of sorrows.  I just heard a man who was 96 tell of the loss of three children and most of his friends.  But he was still going forward with joy and expectation.  Never blaming the Lord for the sorrows in life but simply keeping on walking.
I want to encourage you today to keep walking, walking in the light of the Lord.  Yes that is what an old song would state.  "You'll get to heaven someday if you walk the right way.  Walking in the light of the Lord."  I am so thankful for the Spirit of God that reminds us to keep walking.                                                                        

A few months ago I wrote about how several students were praying and waiting on God to give them an assignment to bless others.  Two young mom's went out to yard sales and felt that the Lord wanted them to pray with two families.  One person had just lost a loved one and was asked by the mom's if they could pray for them during their grief period.  Prayer was welcome and this week the person happened by accident (or divine guidance)to show up as a guest at the church the two mom's attend.  What a surprise and what a confirmation that the Lord loves this person and wants to comfort them during this time of loss.  Living the life of adventure in the Kingdom of God. 

We had an assignment in our prophetic training class as I like to call it "prophecy school".  We were suppose to pray and believe for the Lord to show us someone to give a word to that we felt He, the Lord, wanted shared with that person.  It is so much fun to watch as students really took the assignment seriously and made plans to find a treasure, that is the person that the Lord is highlighting.  I was a service today and a couple started telling me how they went to a yard sale yesterday and when they arrived they noticed that there were several people praying at the yard sale.  They then recognized some of the individuals and they were friends from church.  I said to them that the people they recognized were two of my students and they had an assignment to find who the Lord was highlighting and give them the words that He is showing them.  Are you bored with life, then you are not living a life of high adventure.  Step out in faith and see what the Lord will do.  We will be opening our school in a few months and will be taking new students so watch for the info.
